Leo Region 4 Commemorates World Food Day with an Impactful Community Outreach in commemoration of World Food Day 2025, the Leos of Region 4, District 404A2 Nigeria came together for a remarkable act of service themed “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.” The event, which took place on October 16, 2025, at the Cultural Center, Calabar, brought together passionate Leos and Lions who share a commitment to fighting hunger and promoting food security within their communities.Under the leadership of Leo Prince-Austin (LAH, T25, T5, NLEF, NLCF, MGA), the Region Director, and Leo Nsa Eyo (T5, 100%P, LAH, MGA), the Service Chairperson, this year’s World Food Day activity was both inspiring and impactful. The project focused on reaching out to underserved members of the community by providing nutritious meals and sharing the message of collective responsibility towards ending hunger.Smiles lit up faces as children, families, and individuals received warm meals and encouragement, embodying the Lions motto: “We Serve.”As part of the global campaign to end hunger, the Leos of Region 4 have once again shown that when young leaders unite with passion and purpose, lasting change is possible.
