The Calabar Paradise Leo Club successfully carried out its Anniversary Project titled  “Leovangelism & Shuttle Fare Support Project for UNICAL Students”  on Monday, 29th September 2025 at the University of Calabar Shuttle Park.
The project provided free shuttle fares to students while also promoting Leovangelism, sensitizing them on the values of service, leadership, and volunteerism. Led by Leo Theresa Effiom (Club President), Leo Elizabeth Okete (Project Director), and Leo Benjamin Akawu (Membership Director) the initiative combined direct student support with awareness creation.
Dozens of students benefited directly from free transportation, while hundreds more were engaged through awareness campaigns. Despite minor challenges such as limited resources, the project generated goodwill, boosted the club’s visibility, and strengthened its bond with the university community.
The project was deemed a resounding success, meeting its objectives of easing student burdens and promoting the Leo movement in the Spirit of Lions.
